Psychosis refers to a set of symptoms characterized by an individual’s difficulty in distinguishing between reality and illusions. This detachment from reality can be triggered by various mental and physical health issues. Fortunately, psychosis is generally manageable through medications and therapeutic strategies.
Psychosis represents a disengagement from reality, where individuals may hold unfounded beliefs or perceive nonexistent occurrences. It isn’t a disease in itself but rather a spectrum of symptoms.
